California country artist and singer-songwriter Cynthia Renee is building an international presence with a combination of powerhouse vocals, relatable songwriting, continued radio success, and an energetic live show.
Signing her latest label/management co-venture with Twelve-Seventeen/SSM Nashville Records this year, Cynthia has continued to expand her career well beyond her Northern California roots, earning both national and international radio play, multiple award nominations, major festival appearances, and opportunities to share the stage with some of country music’s most recognizable artists.
Her 2026 release, “The Way God Made Me,” became one of the defining songs of her career, earning a Josie Music Award nomination for Song of the Year as well as a Mississippi Music Award nomination for Song of the Year. The deeply personal song also gained traction at country radio and on national independent music charts.
Cynthia’s momentum continues with her newest radio single, “Start Again,” which has earned a Josie Music Award nomination for Country Song of the Year. Her self-titled album, Cynthia Renee, has also been recognized with a Josie Music Award nomination for Album of the Year, adding to a growing list of industry accolades.
In 2026, Cynthia was a featured artist at CMA Fest in Nashville and performed an extensive run of shows during the legendary Pendleton Round-Up in Oregon, further expanding her audience throughout the country and Western music community.
Her previous releases include “Working on a Hangover,” “Good on Me,” and “Have a Heart for a Hero.” “Working on a Hangover” reached the upper ranks of national independent country charts and broke into the top 100 MusicRow charts, while “Good on Me” also became a MusicRow Top 100 single and earned a Josie Music Award nomination for Female Country Song of the Year. “Have a Heart for a Hero,” a tribute honoring veterans, first responders, and those who serve, earned a Josie nomination for Social Impact Video of the Year.
Cynthia has shared stages and events with artists including Uncle Kracker, Craig Morgan, Chase Bryant and others and her performances have taken her from her hometown in California to Tennessee, Mississippi, South Dakota, Idaho, Washington, New York, Alabama, Lake Tahoe and beyond. Her career has included appearances at venues and events ranging from CMA Fest and the Pendleton Rodeo Round-Up to New York City’s Metropolitan Pavilion.
She has also performed the National Anthem at high-profile sporting events including NBA, Major League Baseball, NASCAR and Pro Rodeo. Cynthia has been featured on Good Day Sacramento, Fox 40, KFBK’s Pat Walsh Show and completed an extended radio tour across Tennessee and Alabama.
